音樂家的有趣故事－BACH
音樂趣事：
今日想輕鬆啲同大家講三個短短的音樂趣事，都幾好笑。可能都有人聽過，當回味吧～
故事關於我們的「音樂之父」巴赫, Johann Sebastian Bach (21 March 1685 in Eisenach – 28 July 1750 in Leipzig)
第一個發生於約1715年，巴赫當年在威馬的宮庭裡為一位公爵擔任管風琴師，並在這個期間寫了很多很出色的管風琴作品。當時佢都開始幾出名，所以就獲邀為一間大教堂的管風琴設計給予意見（巴赫是當時有名的管風琴護理及維修專家）。因為佢玩得一手非常出色的「即興演奏」(improvisation)，這個「傳聞」被當時一位叫做Louis Marchant的法國管風琴師聽見了，就說要和巴赫來一個比賽，看看誰的「即興演奏」技巧比較高超。話說在比賽前一天，巴赫為比賽認真的練習時，卻被Louis Marchant偷聽到了，他即時「餚底」，然後逃跑了.....^0^"~
另一個故事發生於同一時期，雖然威馬公爵已經將巴赫晉升為Concertmaster（現解為首席演奏者），人工都算唔錯。但喺，喺1717年，有一份有更高人工嘅新工作邀請佢去克滕（Cothen）做嘢，入為一個機會主義者，巴赫當然唔會於過依個機會啦～當時公爵極力反對及表示強列的不滿，但巴赫卻堅持離他而去。公爵一怒之下將巴赫關了中牢獄中一個月之久，有趣的是巴赫卻不當一回事並在牢中繼續他的創作，期間都寫了很多很好的作品。最後公爵當然也無可奈何地把巴赫給釋放了，只是發洩一下情緒吧～哈哈！＾－＾
仲有一件小趣事（依件可能喺野史嚟嘅），巴赫對音樂十分嚴格，聽到不對的音符時他非發脾氣不可。話說有次佢放工經過河邊，聽到有人Busking，但因為演奏得唔好，佢行埋去同人嘈交，最終大打出手，受了輕傷之餘亦都因為咁而坐咗幾日監！

Johann Sebastian was made organist to the Duke of Saxe-Weimar. At the Duke’s court there was a chapel with an organ. Bach composed many of his great organ works at this time. He became very famous as an organist and was invited to play in other big churches and to give advice on organ building. He was extremely good at improvisation. On one occasion he was in Dresden at the same time as a French organist named Louis Marchant. There was going to be a competition between the two men to see who was better at improvisation. Bach was practicing the day before and Marchant heard him. He realized that Bach would win, so he ran away.
In 1714 the Duke made Bach Konzertmeister (Concertmaster, a job that paid more money.) He had to write cantatas for church services. In 1717 he was offered a job in the town of Cöthen, where he would earn an even better salary. The Duke was angry and did not want him to go but Bach insisted, so the Duke put Bach in prison for a month. In the end he had to let the musician go.
